Type Locality and Naming

Diana-Malari (DM–1) and Kolda (KO–1) wells (Brownfield and Charpentier, 2013).

Lithology and Thickness

Up to 2000 m of carbonate platform. It overlies a ca. 100 m interval of sandstone that caps the underlying Triassic evaporites (Brownfield and Charpentier, 2003).

Lower contact

It conformably(?) overlies the SenegalBasin Salt Fm

Upper contact

It is conformably overlain by the SenegalBasin Neocomian Fm
